Start with when you use power
Bring a recent bill and, if available, interval usage data. Daytime appliances, evening demand and electricity tariffs help us assess what a new system could do for you. A dollar bill alone does not tell the whole story.
Your roof shapes the design
Different roof faces can spread production across the day. Shading, usable space, roof condition and access influence the layout. We assess the property rather than choosing panels by their wattage alone.
Plan for the next few years
Tell us about an electric vehicle, new air conditioning, a heat pump or a future battery. It is useful to compare a system for today with one that allows for those future loads, alongside your budget and network limits.
Ask for seasonal expectations
An annual generation total hides the difference between summer and winter. Ask how the proposal accounts for your location, roof and shading. Storage also needs enough available energy to charge; a large battery does not create electricity.
What to bring to a solar conversation
- Your electricity bill and interval data if you have it.
- Your property address and any known roof or shading issues.
- Existing panel and inverter model details, if applicable.
- Your priorities, budget range and planned appliances.
Let’s apply this to your home.
