Integrated equipment
The all-in-one arrangement brings a matched power module and battery modules together, simplifying the equipment choices to assess.
A hybrid inverter, modular battery storage and energy management in one coordinated platform. Explore how ESA can fit a new solar-and-battery installation or a carefully assessed upgrade.

GoodWe is our other main installation brand after Sigenergy. ESA lets us discuss the inverter, storage and monitoring as a joined-up proposal.
The all-in-one arrangement brings a matched power module and battery modules together, simplifying the equipment choices to assess.
Choose a supported module combination around available solar, evening demand and reserve preferences. More storage is not automatically more useful.
SEMS+ supports energy-flow monitoring, device information and alerts. We discuss connectivity, account access and the controls available for your setup.
The range includes several power and battery configurations. Availability, approved combinations and network limits are confirmed for your property.
| ESA option | Power family | What to assess |
|---|---|---|
| Single phase · EHA hybrid | 3–10 kW family | Match the exact inverter to the roof, permitted connection, battery modules and supported loads. |
| Three phase · ETA hybrid | 5–30 kW family | Assess three-phase loads, circuit distribution, battery configuration and export approval. |
| AC-coupled variants | Separate BHA / BTA configurations | A possible storage retrofit route. Existing inverter, monitoring and outage operation need checking. |
Family names are not a promise of a particular output or export allowance. Model revisions and expansion limits differ; the exact configuration belongs in your quote.

| Battery module | Rated energy | Usable DC energy |
|---|---|---|
| GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 | 5.12 kWh | 5.0 kWh |
| GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 | 8.32 kWh | 8.0 kWh |
Usable kWh describes stored energy. kW describes output power. Delivered AC energy is affected by conversion, reserve settings and operating conditions. Other module generations exist; ask for the exact designation.
| Example configuration | Manufacturer specification |
|---|---|
| Hybrid power module | GW5K-EHA-G20 · single phase |
| Nominal AC output | 5.0 kW |
| Battery modules | 2 × GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 |
| Stored energy | 16.64 kWh rated / 16.0 kWh usable DC |
| Nominal backup output | 5.0 kVA, subject to conditions |
| Maximum PV input for this model | 10.0 kW DC, with the final array design and approvals checked |
This is an illustrative equipment combination, not a package offer or a battery-size recommendation. Actual available power and energy depend on the complete system.
Selected ESA equipment is rated IP66; location, temperature and installation requirements still apply. Figures checked against GoodWe’s current Australian datasheets on 25 October 2026.
Compare ESA with SigenStor →ESA has integrated backup functionality. We still need to define the circuits, supply phase, starting loads, reserve and available battery output.
A bypass-current rating describes grid power passing through the system. It is not the current the battery can deliver in an outage. The selected inverter and battery combination determines that limit.
Discuss refrigeration, lights, internet and pumps before adding heavy cooking, heating or cooling loads. Whole-home backup must be assessed rather than assumed.
Ask whether the proposed solar and storage arrangement can keep charging during an outage. Confirm any additional devices, wiring and commissioning work.
GoodWe’s current AU/NZ terms list a 10-year limited inverter warranty for ESA 3–10K single-phase and ESA 5–30K three-phase products.
The specified LX D G2 battery modules have separate 10-year product and performance terms. Performance cover uses 70% retained usable energy or a minimum throughput of 3.0 MWh per usable kWh, whichever is reached first. The battery terms cover capacity equivalent to one full cycle per day; operating conditions apply.
Read the supplied-model terms for exclusions, claim deadlines and cost limits. Manufacturer warranty and installation workmanship are separate.
The SEMS+ platform helps you follow generation, storage, home consumption and grid flows. Features and data depend on the installed meters, communications, firmware and permissions.
Discuss reserve settings and tariff-based schedules at handover. Automated control is not a guaranteed bill saving; settings need to suit your electricity plan and backup preferences.
Explore GoodWe monitoring ↗Sigenergy is our first-choice brand and GoodWe is our other main option. We compare the right configuration for your home, including supply phase, storage, backup equipment, app preferences and budget.
There are hybrid and AC-coupled pathways. We assess your current inverter and system condition before proposing a specific solution, including its outage behaviour.
Start with interval usage data, available solar surplus and your priorities. We can compare sensible module configurations and expected use across seasons.
Exact inverter and battery models, module count, usable energy, backup scope, monitoring, installation work, warranty terms and any applicable incentive assumptions.
