One hot-water upgrade. Several things to consider.
Midea's Australian E-Boost range includes a 280 L tank using R290 refrigerant. The manufacturer lists Wi-Fi, solar-PV compatibility, a wide operating temperature range and protection features intended for changing conditions.
The best fit depends on household draw-off, space around the tank, noise, winter recovery, available electrical supply and the way you use solar.

Choosing between Midea and iStore
iStore is our current preferred heat-pump option. Midea's 280 L E-Boost provides another product to discuss, particularly where tank size, smart scheduling and site layout are important. Neither unit is automatically the best fit for every household.
