Controller power and supply phase must be selected for the property. Single-phase and three-phase figures are not interchangeable. A Gateway’s bypass or grid-through rating does not describe the inverter’s outage output.
Solar supplies available household demand; supported storage can charge and discharge according to the system settings.
Backup needs the appropriate isolation equipment and installation. We define supported loads, surge demand, reserve and solar recharge behaviour.
Exact models, usable storage, output limits, metering, backup circuits, electrical work and handover should all be clear.
Read the applicable Australian SigenStor limited warranty for the controller, supplied model and installation date. Product cover, communications requirements, exclusions and installer workmanship need to be clear in the proposal.
Keep your serial numbers, commissioning record, supplied manuals and warranty documents. At handover we discuss monitoring access, reserve settings, alerts and who to contact for support.
Discuss Sigenergy ↗Sigenergy has published a replacement notice covering certain earlier single-phase 8, 10 and 12 kW controllers with the affected AC connection design. It does not cover every Sigenergy product. Existing owners should check the manufacturer notice and contact their installer. New proposals must specify a current approved hardware revision.
