Switchboard and metering

Home battery behaviour
Charging an EV can use a large amount of energy. Discuss whether home-battery discharge should be restricted while the car charges.
Tesla’s Charge on Solar feature requires a compatible Tesla vehicle, Powerwall and supported system/software. A Wall Connector on its own is not a universal solar-surplus controller for every EV.

Tesla lists a four-year warranty for residential Wall Connector use, subject to its applicable terms. Other use and installation work may have different cover.
These AC chargers use the vehicle’s onboard AC-to-DC charger. They are different from Sigenergy’s optional DC EV charging module. Do not assume an AC charger can power your home from the car: V2H or V2G requires separately supported equipment, a compatible vehicle and applicable approvals.
Your proposal covers the model, installation work, protection, any metering, commissioning, app setup and operating settings. We confirm connectivity and warranty documents at handover.
